We carry kiln dried (KD) lumber in an assortment of softwood and hardwood species. From clear dry Redwood, Douglas Fir and Pine, to Poplar and Red Oak in common sizes and higher lumber grades. Kiln dried lumber is less susceptible to shrinking and is less likely to warp or check because it contains less moisture content. Applications include casework and trim, and any finish use requiring a stable, nice looking piece of wood.

Doug Fir S-DRY Framing Lumber
S-DRY framing lumber is wood that has less than 19% moisture content when surfaced at the Mill. More stable with less movement, S-DRY framing lumber tends to integrate better with the already dry framing lumber found when remodeling an existing home or structure. Applications include studs, joists, headers and rafters.

We carry the most common engineered wood products used in framing construction — Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) and Parallel Strand Lumber (PSL) for long unsupported spans or supporting heavy loads, and I-joists for use in floor, ceiling and roof joist applications.

Pressure Treated Lumber
Pressure treated lumber is the product of choice where the lumber is exposed to the rigors of climate, moisture and/or contact with the soil. Structural grade Douglas Fir is pressure treated with .40 Alkaline Copper Quaternary (ACQ), a waterborne preservative developed to provide long-term protection from attack by termites, insects and fungal decay. Applications include foundations, decks, fences and landscaping.
